Senator Durbin is trying to pass a bill (SB 500) that would close pawn shops. Millions of people use their local pawn shops and consider their local pawnbroker a friend that helps them when they need a pawn loan. Support your local pawn shop or lose forever the ability to pawn anything in America. You must act NOW!

The Senate is considering a credit card bill, H.R. 627, on the Floor DURING THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS and negative rate cap amendments have been filed by Senators Durbin (D-IL), Sanders (I-VT) and Whitehouse (D-RI). The Durbin amendment is a 36% all-in APR cap, the Sanders amendment is a 15% all-in APR cap, and the Whitehouse amendment is a de facto rate cap that uses the federal bankruptcy code to set a bad precedent for credit that exceeds an all-in 17-36% APR.

Call KEY State Senators, local government officials, and the media NOW!! And NOW's the time to send your petitions to senators.
